Samples of our wood and bamboo brushes and combs were tested against the ten substances restricted by the RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU, as amended by (EU) 2015/863): lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, PBBs, PBDEs, and the phthalates DIBP, DBP, BBP and DEHP. Every model submitted conforms.

Two things this document is not, so your compliance team is not left guessing: it covers the samples submitted for testing rather than the whole production line, and it is a RoHS verification rather than a CE conformity assessment — other CE directives were not evaluated. If you need a specific model tested, or a different substance list, we can arrange it before bulk.
Global Recycled Standard (GRS 4.0)

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is an international, voluntary, full product standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions.
Our GRS 4.0 certification is issued by Intertek under product category Hard goods (PC0022), covering manufacturing, printing and warehousing. It verifies recycled content and chain of custody through those steps — ask us for the current certificate and we will send the scope in full.

The FSC certification is the world's most respected standard for responsible forest management. Our FSC chain-of-custody certification ensures that all bamboo and wood used in our products originates from responsibly managed forests and certified plantations.
This means the bamboo and wood in your wooden combs, bamboo brushes, or wooden clips can be traced from the forest floor to your customer's hands, with documentation available for your sustainability verification.

BSCI is an industry-driven initiative designed to improve working conditions throughout global supply chains. Our factory is audited by TÜV Rheinland — one of the world's most trusted testing and certification organizations. Ask us for the current audit report and we will send it with the audit dates on it.
For buyers in the EU and UK, BSCI compliance is increasingly a baseline requirement. Our audit results are available to share directly with your procurement or CSR team.

The BRCGS (Brand Reputation Compliance Global Standards) Consumer Products certification is one of the most demanding product safety standards in the world. SGS-certified, it is accepted as a supplier qualification standard by major UK and EU retailers including Sainsbury's, Boots, and John Lewis.
This certification gives your procurement team confidence that our factory operates under documented, audited quality and safety procedures — well above standard factory practices.

Issued against GB/T19001-2016 / ISO 9001:2015 by Kaixin Certification (Beijing), accredited by ANAB and recognised through the IAF multilateral arrangement. First issued in 2013 and renewed since — the current certificate was reissued on 7 January 2025. The registration number is on the certificate below, so you can verify its status with the certifier rather than take our word for it.
A note on the two names you will see. Pure Brush Co., Ltd is our production site in Qiaotou, Dongguan — founded in 2012, 196 staff, with injection, pad printing, flocking, dyeing, painting, assembly and packing under one roof and no process subcontracted. Export orders are contracted and invoiced through our export entity, Dongguan JunYi Beauty Technology Co., Ltd. Same ownership, same factory; it is simply how the paperwork is split. We would rather you read that here than wonder about it when the documents arrive.
For brands placing repeat orders, ISO 9001 is the assurance that the tenth order is built to the same written procedure as the first.
