Most marbled acetate goes warm — amber, tortoiseshell, cream. This one does not. The sheet is olive and deep green with pearl flecks laid through it, and it reads as something closer to stone than to shell. For a brand that wants an acetate brush without landing in the same tortoiseshell aisle as everyone else, that is the entire argument.

The head carries both bristle types on the same pad rather than in separate zones. The nylon pins are longer and reach the scalp; the shorter boar tufts sit between them and pick up the natural oil as the brush passes. That combination is why this style is used for smoothing rather than for detangling — it distributes and polishes, but it is not the tool for working through a wet knot.
If wet detangling is what your range needs, our ball-tip nylon pin brush is the right member of the family. If you want the boar mix on a plain body instead of a patterned one, see the dual bristle cushion brush.
Cellulose acetate is made by layering coloured sheet and pressing it, then cutting the shape out of the block. The marbling therefore runs through the full thickness of the handle rather than sitting on the surface. Two things follow, and both matter commercially: no two handles are identical, and the colour cannot chip or scratch off the way a sprayed finish does.
It is also plant-derived, produced from wood pulp rather than petroleum, which is what lets it sit in a plastic-free range next to our bamboo and wooden lines. The honest version of that claim is set out in is cellulose acetate biodegradable.

The kraft box shown in the gallery is printed with your logo and produced alongside the brush, so the two ship together as a finished retail unit. Printed packaging carries its own lead time, so raise it when you ask for a price rather than after the sample is approved — the cost and timing are broken down in packaging MOQ and cost.
Make this product your own. Every detail is customizable for orders meeting the MOQ.
Laser engraving, hot stamping, silk screen printing, or UV printing on product body and handle.
Pantone color matching. For acetate: custom tortoiseshell, marble, and unique pattern designs.
Modify dimensions or create entirely new shapes. 2,000+ existing molds or develop new ones.
Kraft boxes, velvet pouches, blister packs, retail-ready display cards. Your brand on every package.
These are the stock colours this shape runs in. Any Pantone reference can be matched on top of them — colour is mixed into the material, not sprayed on the surface, so it never chips or fades.
Send a Pantone code or a physical reference and we will match it on the sample before bulk. See the full pattern library →
The bristle set changes the feel, the target hair type and the price. All four run on this same body, so you can switch without new tooling.

Undecided? We will send one sample of each bristle type so you can compare them in hand before committing to bulk.
Packaging is produced alongside the product and ships as one order. Printed packaging carries its own lead time, so tell us early which route you want.

Samples from an existing mould ship against a sample fee that is credited back against your first bulk order. Custom-tooled samples are quoted case by case.
Bulk production starts once the pre-production sample is approved in writing. Reorders of a running design are faster, because tooling and colour are already set.
FOB, CIF, DAP and DDP are all available, by sea or by air, from Shenzhen or Guangzhou. DDP is the simplest route for a first order.
Cellulose acetate is a plant-derived, biodegradable material made from wood pulp or cotton fibers. Unlike petroleum-based plastics, it breaks down naturally over time, making it an eco-friendly choice for premium hair accessories. Its unique properties allow for rich color patterns — from classic tortoiseshell to custom marble effects — that cannot be replicated with standard plastics.
As a manufacturer with 25+ years of experience, EcoHairFactory has mastered the intricate process of cellulose acetate production — from sheet selection and pattern matching to precision cutting and multi-stage hand polishing. Each piece undergoes 8–12 finishing steps to achieve the signature smooth, glossy surface that defines high-end acetate accessories.
Yes, within the shapes we already cut. The sheet and the body are separate decisions, so an existing body in a new sheet costs no tooling. A new body outline is a different conversation.
The 1,000 is per design. Colourways of the same body can often be scheduled together, so send the actual colour list rather than assuming it multiplies.
Nylon reaches the scalp, boar carries the oil down the hair. Alone, each does half the job. This is a smoothing brush, not a detangler.
Boar is a natural fibre and a small amount of settling in the first weeks is normal. If your market will not accept that, specify all-nylon and we will quote the same body that way.
