Marble is not a colour in cellulose acetate, it is what happens when coloured sheets are pressed together and the boundary between them is allowed to move. That is why a marble claw clip cannot be ordered the way a solid black one can: you are specifying a process with a range of outcomes, and the useful conversation is about how wide you will let that range be.

Three patterns come out of the same lamination process, and they behave differently on the shelf:
The mistake we see most often is a marble sheet specified on a small body. A 7 cm clip cut from a coarse vein pattern gets one or two features on its face — the customer does not read “marble”, she reads “smudge”. The pattern needs area to declare itself.
Below about 9 cm, move to a finer or softer pattern. Our shell blue cloud runs successfully down to a 7 cm medium body precisely because it has no hard edges to chop. If you want a vein or stripe in a small size, we scale the pattern in the sheet rather than shrinking the clip and hoping — that is a sheet-level change, so it needs deciding before sampling, not after.

Every marble clip is different from every other one. That is the material being real, and it is also a genuine commercial problem that a supplier should raise before you find it in a carton.
Two things keep it under control. First, we cut a whole order from the same laminated block wherever the quantity allows, so variation within your batch is far tighter than variation between our stock runs — a 500 pcs order is usually one block. Second, we agree a tolerance at sampling: you approve a light example and a heavy example, and everything shipped falls between them. Buyers who skip that step are the ones who get a surprise, and it is the one place in this category where a cheap quote usually means no tolerance was ever set.
Worth putting on your product page too. “No two are identical” converts better than it complains, once the customer has been told to expect it.
Marble takes metal trim better than any other sheet we hold, because the veining already implies stone and the metal reads as a setting rather than a decoration. A fine gold chain along both arms — the grey marble version is the clearest example — moves a clip up a price tier for very little added cost, and it is the single most requested upgrade on this pattern.
Trim is applied to a machined channel, not glued to the surface. On a curved arm a surface-applied trim lifts at the ends within weeks.

Minimum is 500 pcs per design, and mixed marble sheets of one shape share that minimum. The range runs from a 7 cm medium at 18 g to a 14 cm gold-trimmed loop at 63 g — the heaviest claw clip we make, and one that needs a correspondingly strong spring.
If you are sending a marble reference, send the stone rather than another clip where you can: we match veining density and contrast off a photograph of the real material more reliably than off a competitor’s product shot. The same shapes run in tortoiseshell and pearl, the geometric bodies have their own page as the rectangular frame claw clip, and every shape we tool is in the full claw clip catalogue. Our OEM team quotes within 24 hours.
Make this product your own. Every detail is customizable for orders meeting the MOQ.
Laser engraving, hot stamping, silk screen printing, or UV printing on product body and handle.
Pantone color matching. For acetate: custom tortoiseshell, marble, and unique pattern designs.
Modify dimensions or create entirely new shapes. 2,000+ existing molds or develop new ones.
Kraft boxes, velvet pouches, blister packs, retail-ready display cards. Your brand on every package.
These are the stock colours this shape runs in. Any Pantone reference can be matched on top of them — colour is mixed into the material, not sprayed on the surface, so it never chips or fades.
Send a Pantone code or a physical reference and we will match it on the sample before bulk. See the full pattern library →
Packaging is produced alongside the product and ships as one order. Printed packaging carries its own lead time, so tell us early which route you want.

Samples from an existing mould ship against a sample fee that is credited back against your first bulk order. Custom-tooled samples are quoted case by case.
Bulk production starts once the pre-production sample is approved in writing. Reorders of a running design are faster, because tooling and colour are already set.
FOB, CIF, DAP and DDP are all available, by sea or by air, from Shenzhen or Guangzhou. DDP is the simplest route for a first order.
Cellulose acetate is a plant-derived, biodegradable material made from wood pulp or cotton fibers. Unlike petroleum-based plastics, it breaks down naturally over time, making it an eco-friendly choice for premium hair accessories. Its unique properties allow for rich color patterns — from classic tortoiseshell to custom marble effects — that cannot be replicated with standard plastics.
As a manufacturer with 25+ years of experience, EcoHairFactory has mastered the intricate process of cellulose acetate production — from sheet selection and pattern matching to precision cutting and multi-stage hand polishing. Each piece undergoes 8–12 finishing steps to achieve the signature smooth, glossy surface that defines high-end acetate accessories.
No. The pattern is laminated into the block before cutting, so each piece takes a different section. We cut a whole order from one block wherever quantity allows, and we agree a light and a heavy example at sampling so everything shipped falls between them.
The same lamination process with different flow and a different cutting axis. Cloud is soft drifts and works on small bodies; vein is distinct lines through a lighter ground and is what most people picture; stripe is broad parallel bands and photographs sharpest.
Yes, but not by shrinking the clip on a coarse sheet — a 7cm body gets one or two features and reads as a smudge. We scale the pattern in the sheet instead, which has to be decided before sampling.
No. It sits in a machined channel. Surface-applied trim on a curved arm lifts at the ends within weeks.
A photo of the real stone, if that is what you are after. We match veining density and contrast off the actual material more reliably than off a competitor's product shot.
