At 30 g this is the heaviest clip in our range by some distance, and the weight is the whole story. A flat bow shape cut from a single sheet weighs 6 or 7 g and looks like a bow-shaped clip. This one is carved with real depth in the knot and the loops, and you can feel the difference before you see it.

The bow is a separate piece. It is cut from thick block, shaped so the two loops lift away from the knot, hand-polished on every face including the undercuts, and then set onto the duckbill base as a second operation.
Doing it as one piece with the base would be faster and it is how most acetate bows are made. It also means the loops have to stay flat, because a single-piece cut cannot produce an undercut. Every bit of the three-dimensionality here comes from accepting a two-part build.

Two practical consequences. First, freight: at 30 g a 500 pc order is 15 kg of product before packaging, so this is a piece to consolidate rather than air-freight on its own. Second, retail positioning — a customer who picks this up puts it in a different price bracket than the photograph suggested, which works in your favour if the price point is set to match.
6.5 cm across, 30 g per piece. Gold-tone sprung duckbill base. Because the bow is a separate part, the bow and the base can be specified in different finishes, and a plain flat-loop version runs at roughly two-thirds the weight if you want an entry price point in the same shape.

Make this product your own. Every detail is customizable for orders meeting the MOQ.
Laser engraving, hot stamping, silk screen printing, or UV printing on product body and handle.
Pantone color matching. For acetate: custom tortoiseshell, marble, and unique pattern designs.
Modify dimensions or create entirely new shapes. 2,000+ existing molds or develop new ones.
Kraft boxes, velvet pouches, blister packs, retail-ready display cards. Your brand on every package.
These are the stock colours this shape runs in. Any Pantone reference can be matched on top of them — colour is mixed into the material, not sprayed on the surface, so it never chips or fades.
Send a Pantone code or a physical reference and we will match it on the sample before bulk. See the full pattern library →
Packaging is produced alongside the product and ships as one order. Printed packaging carries its own lead time, so tell us early which route you want.

Samples from an existing mould ship against a sample fee that is credited back against your first bulk order. Custom-tooled samples are quoted case by case.
Bulk production starts once the pre-production sample is approved in writing. Reorders of a running design are faster, because tooling and colour are already set.
FOB, CIF, DAP and DDP are all available, by sea or by air, from Shenzhen or Guangzhou. DDP is the simplest route for a first order.
Cellulose acetate is a plant-derived, biodegradable material made from wood pulp or cotton fibers. Unlike petroleum-based plastics, it breaks down naturally over time, making it an eco-friendly choice for premium hair accessories. Its unique properties allow for rich color patterns — from classic tortoiseshell to custom marble effects — that cannot be replicated with standard plastics.
As a manufacturer with 25+ years of experience, EcoHairFactory has mastered the intricate process of cellulose acetate production — from sheet selection and pattern matching to precision cutting and multi-stage hand polishing. Each piece undergoes 8–12 finishing steps to achieve the signature smooth, glossy surface that defines high-end acetate accessories.
Because the bow is carved from thick block rather than cut from sheet. The weight is the product — it is what separates this from a flat bow-shaped clip at a third of the price.
The base is fixed through the knot, which is the thickest part of the piece. Fixing through the thin loop area is where cheap versions fail.
Yes. A flat-loop cut runs at roughly two-thirds the weight and a lower price, and carrying both gives you a ladder inside one shape.
It is a piece for medium and thick hair. On fine hair we would point you at the 6 g slim duckbill instead — it is an honest limit, not a spec we can tune away.
