There is a gap in most brands’ hair ranges between the everyday clip and the wedding hair accessory. This barrette is built for it: slim enough to wear to work, with enough weight and enough stone to wear to something else.

A single pavé crystal ball set at the centre of a plain acetate bar reads as jewellery. The same bar covered in small scattered stones reads as costume. That is a positioning decision more than a manufacturing one, but it has a manufacturing consequence too: one seat to drill and one component to secure, instead of twenty separate hand operations that each represent a place the piece can fail.
The ball is stock in clear pavé. Black pavé, champagne and a plain pearl bead all fit the same seat, which makes three visually distinct SKUs off one body the cheapest range extension available on this shape.

A slim bar is the hardest clip profile to get right, because the shape has almost no depth to resist bending along its length. Cut from 3 mm stock, an 8.5 cm bar bows under spring tension within a season and stops sitting flat against the head.
At 5 mm it stays straight. It also brings the piece to 30 g, which is heavy for a barrette and intentional — weight in the hand is most of what separates an occasion piece from an everyday one before anyone has looked closely at the stone.

At 30 g this barrette needs a firmer spring on fine hair than it does on thick, and getting that wrong is the most common reason a heavy clip fails in the field rather than on the shelf. We specify tension separately from shape — tell us the hair type you are designing for and we will match it on the sample.
MOQ is 500 pcs per design. If you are also looking at the plain hinged shape, see the acetate French barrette, or send your brief to our OEM team for a quote within 24 hours.
Make this product your own. Every detail is customizable for orders meeting the MOQ.
Laser engraving, hot stamping, silk screen printing, or UV printing on product body and handle.
Pantone color matching. For acetate: custom tortoiseshell, marble, and unique pattern designs.
Modify dimensions or create entirely new shapes. 2,000+ existing molds or develop new ones.
Kraft boxes, velvet pouches, blister packs, retail-ready display cards. Your brand on every package.
These are the stock colours this shape runs in. Any Pantone reference can be matched on top of them — colour is mixed into the material, not sprayed on the surface, so it never chips or fades.
Send a Pantone code or a physical reference and we will match it on the sample before bulk. See the full pattern library →
Packaging is produced alongside the product and ships as one order. Printed packaging carries its own lead time, so tell us early which route you want.

Samples from an existing mould ship against a sample fee that is credited back against your first bulk order. Custom-tooled samples are quoted case by case.
Bulk production starts once the pre-production sample is approved in writing. Reorders of a running design are faster, because tooling and colour are already set.
FOB, CIF, DAP and DDP are all available, by sea or by air, from Shenzhen or Guangzhou. DDP is the simplest route for a first order.
Cellulose acetate is a plant-derived, biodegradable material made from wood pulp or cotton fibers. Unlike petroleum-based plastics, it breaks down naturally over time, making it an eco-friendly choice for premium hair accessories. Its unique properties allow for rich color patterns — from classic tortoiseshell to custom marble effects — that cannot be replicated with standard plastics.
As a manufacturer with 25+ years of experience, EcoHairFactory has mastered the intricate process of cellulose acetate production — from sheet selection and pattern matching to precision cutting and multi-stage hand polishing. Each piece undergoes 8–12 finishing steps to achieve the signature smooth, glossy surface that defines high-end acetate accessories.
Because a single pave ball reads as jewellery and a field of small stones reads as costume. It is also structurally simpler: one seat to drill, one component to secure, far fewer failure points than twenty glued stones.
It is at the upper end, and deliberately so. Weight is most of what separates an occasion piece from an everyday one in the hand. On fine hair it will need a firmer spring, which we set separately — tell us the hair type at sampling.
Yes. Clear pave is stock. Black pave, champagne and a plain pearl bead all run on the same seat, and swapping it is the cheapest way to get three visually distinct SKUs from one body.
Rigidity along the length. A slim bar this long cut from 3mm stock bows under spring tension over time. At 5mm it stays straight, which matters more on a bar shape than on any other clip profile.
