Vintage-look hair accessories usually fail in one of two directions: too literal, and they read as fancy dress; too restrained, and there is nothing to notice. This barrette sits between them — a tapered willow-leaf profile with a single antique-silver motif running down the centre.

The silver detail is a plated metal appliqué, and it sits in a recess cut into the acetate rather than on top of a flat face. That is a slower operation and it is what keeps the piece flush: an appliqué glued to a flat surface has an exposed edge all the way round, and that edge is where a fingernail or a hairbrush eventually lifts it.
The antiquing is lacquered after plating so it does not go patchy in humidity. If you are shipping into a hot and humid market, tell us at enquiry and we will confirm the finish spec before we sample.

The metal is fixed; the body is the variable. That is unusually good economics on a decorated piece, because the expensive tool — the appliqué — is amortised across all six colourways instead of one.

We also cut this leaf profile without the appliqué. The plain version costs meaningfully less and gives you a price ladder inside one shape — an entry SKU and a gift SKU that look like a family rather than two unrelated products. Brands that carry both usually find the plain one drives volume and the decorated one carries the margin.
7.5 × 1.5 × 2 cm, 30 g per piece. Slim across the width but with real depth, which is what lets a narrow shape hold weight. Spring tension is set separately from the shape — tell us the hair type you are designing for.
The same willow-leaf profile runs without the crystal motif as the slim willow duckbill clip, and the pavé setting used here also appears on the flower crystal hair fork. MOQ is 500 pcs per design. Make this product your own. Every detail is customizable for orders meeting the MOQ.
Laser engraving, hot stamping, silk screen printing, or UV printing on product body and handle.
Pantone color matching. For acetate: custom tortoiseshell, marble, and unique pattern designs.
Modify dimensions or create entirely new shapes. 2,000+ existing molds or develop new ones.
Kraft boxes, velvet pouches, blister packs, retail-ready display cards. Your brand on every package.
These are the stock colours this shape runs in. Any Pantone reference can be matched on top of them — colour is mixed into the material, not sprayed on the surface, so it never chips or fades.
Send a Pantone code or a physical reference and we will match it on the sample before bulk. See the full pattern library →
Packaging is produced alongside the product and ships as one order. Printed packaging carries its own lead time, so tell us early which route you want.

Samples from an existing mould ship against a sample fee that is credited back against your first bulk order. Custom-tooled samples are quoted case by case.
Bulk production starts once the pre-production sample is approved in writing. Reorders of a running design are faster, because tooling and colour are already set.
FOB, CIF, DAP and DDP are all available, by sea or by air, from Shenzhen or Guangzhou. DDP is the simplest route for a first order.
Cellulose acetate is a plant-derived, biodegradable material made from wood pulp or cotton fibers. Unlike petroleum-based plastics, it breaks down naturally over time, making it an eco-friendly choice for premium hair accessories. Its unique properties allow for rich color patterns — from classic tortoiseshell to custom marble effects — that cannot be replicated with standard plastics.
As a manufacturer with 25+ years of experience, EcoHairFactory has mastered the intricate process of cellulose acetate production — from sheet selection and pattern matching to precision cutting and multi-stage hand polishing. Each piece undergoes 8–12 finishing steps to achieve the signature smooth, glossy surface that defines high-end acetate accessories.
Yes — an antique-plated metal appliqué set into a recess cut in the acetate, not stamped or printed on. Setting it into a recess rather than gluing it to a flat face is what keeps it flush and stops the edge lifting.
Because the metal motif is fixed and the body is the only variable. Antique silver against mint reads completely differently from antique silver against black — you get six distinct products from one appliqué tool, which is unusually good economics on a decorated piece.
The stock finish is lacquered after plating, which is what stops the antiquing from going patchy in humidity. If you are shipping to a hot and humid market, say so and we will confirm the finish spec before sampling.
Yes. The plain leaf is a good everyday SKU and costs meaningfully less, and pairing plain and decorated versions of one shape is a proven way to widen a price ladder without widening the tooling.
