A semicircle with the teeth cut along the straight edge. It is the shape that sells this comb — it does not look like a comb until you pick it up, which is exactly what a gifting or display-led range wants.

The curved back gives the whole width of the palm to push against, so a comb with no handle is still controllable. It also sits flat and reads as an object rather than a tool, which is why this style ends up in gift sets and on open display more often than in a wash bag.
An outline like this is only economic because acetate is cut from sheet. On a moulded plastic comb the same shape would need its own steel tool. Ours needs a cutting profile — the cost difference is set out in mould costs.
Bright teal and violet chips through a near-black base. Under shop lighting the teal reads almost luminous against the dark ground, and because the colour is layered into the sheet rather than sprayed on, it shows on every cut tooth edge as well as on the face.

Set fine and close along the full straight edge. This is a finishing and parting comb, not a detangler. For wet hair and curls, quote the wide tooth comb; for both densities on one body, the floral dressing comb.
Make this product your own. Every detail is customizable for orders meeting the MOQ.
Laser engraving, hot stamping, silk screen printing, or UV printing on product body and handle.
Pantone color matching. For acetate: custom tortoiseshell, marble, and unique pattern designs.
Modify dimensions or create entirely new shapes. 2,000+ existing molds or develop new ones.
Kraft boxes, velvet pouches, blister packs, retail-ready display cards. Your brand on every package.
These are the stock colours this shape runs in. Any Pantone reference can be matched on top of them — colour is mixed into the material, not sprayed on the surface, so it never chips or fades.
Send a Pantone code or a physical reference and we will match it on the sample before bulk. See the full pattern library →
Packaging is produced alongside the product and ships as one order. Printed packaging carries its own lead time, so tell us early which route you want.

Samples from an existing mould ship against a sample fee that is credited back against your first bulk order. Custom-tooled samples are quoted case by case.
Bulk production starts once the pre-production sample is approved in writing. Reorders of a running design are faster, because tooling and colour are already set.
FOB, CIF, DAP and DDP are all available, by sea or by air, from Shenzhen or Guangzhou. DDP is the simplest route for a first order.
Cellulose acetate is a plant-derived, biodegradable material made from wood pulp or cotton fibers. Unlike petroleum-based plastics, it breaks down naturally over time, making it an eco-friendly choice for premium hair accessories. Its unique properties allow for rich color patterns — from classic tortoiseshell to custom marble effects — that cannot be replicated with standard plastics.
As a manufacturer with 25+ years of experience, EcoHairFactory has mastered the intricate process of cellulose acetate production — from sheet selection and pattern matching to precision cutting and multi-stage hand polishing. Each piece undergoes 8–12 finishing steps to achieve the signature smooth, glossy surface that defines high-end acetate accessories.
On this body, not without a new cutting profile — tooth spacing is cut, not assembled. We would quote it as a new design.
Because the comb is cut from sheet. The cutter follows whatever outline the file describes, so the shape costs nothing extra. Only material yield changes.
It is usually quoted with a printed carton or a velvet pouch. Both are produced alongside the comb and ship together.
Within one sheet run, yes. Between runs there is natural variation. Keep a sealed reference sample and quote the sheet reference on reorders.
