This one sits between the two: solid beech under a sprayed amber-honey lacquer that stays translucent, so the grain still reads through the colour instead of disappearing under it. On a shelf it looks warmer and more finished than untreated wood, without the plastic flatness of an opaque paint job.

Why a Sprayed Colour Finish Changes the Product

Colour spraying is a separate production stage — the blank is sanded, sealed, sprayed, cured, then flatted back and sprayed again. It costs more than a clear lacquer and it is the reason this brush can hit a Pantone target while a natural brush cannot. If your packaging or your brand palette is built around a specific warm tone, the brush can be matched to it rather than the other way round.

The trade-off worth knowing: a sprayed finish shows a scratch more readily than bare wood.
