Almost every acetate comb we make is opaque. This sheet is not — it is a frosted translucent that runs from pale lemon at one end to blush at the other, and light passes through the teeth rather than stopping at them. On a shelf it does not look like the rest of the category, which for a brand is the entire reason to choose it.
The teeth are spaced wide and set on a 16 centimetre body. That combination is for wet hair, for curls, and for working conditioner through — three uses where a fine comb causes breakage. It is not a finishing comb and it should not be sold as one.
If you need both densities in one piece, the rectangular tortoiseshell comb carries fine and wide sections on the same body.
A translucent sheet shows its own thickness. Where the comb is thicker the colour deepens; at the tooth tips it goes almost clear. That gradient is a property of the material and it cannot be reproduced by spraying a clear plastic — which is the practical reason this pattern is difficult for a competitor to copy cheaply.

Pad printing on a translucent body needs more thought than on an opaque one, because the ink sits against a background that changes. We usually recommend putting the logo on the printed carton instead and keeping the comb itself clean. Both are quoted alongside the comb — see packaging MOQ and cost.

Samples from an existing mould ship against a sample fee that is credited back against your first bulk order. Custom-tooled samples are quoted case by case.
Bulk production starts once the pre-production sample is approved in writing. Reorders of a running design are faster, because tooling and colour are already set.
FOB, CIF, DAP and DDP are all available, by sea or by air, from Shenzhen or Guangzhou. DDP is the simplest route for a first order.
