Plastic clips are injection-molded in minutes. Acetate is carved and polished over weeks — that is exactly why it looks, feels, and sells as a premium product.

Choose from 300+ tortoiseshell, marble, and solid patterns in stock. Brand-exclusive custom sheets add 7-10 days.

Every piece is CNC-carved from solid acetate sheet over 3-5 days, then de-panelled and hand-sorted for defects.

Tumble dry-polishing for 7-10 days for a warm satin luster, or spray coating in 2-3 days for a mirror-gloss look.

For claw clips: flat carved blanks are heated, press-molded into their curved form, then cold-set to lock in spring-back strength and grip.

The same heat-and-bend technique also shapes headbands and other curved acetate accessories — not just claw clips.

Recessed ink-fill or silk-screen logo, spring and hinge assembly, then piece-by-piece hand inspection and packing.

Pieces tumble continuously against polishing media for over a week, developing a deep, warm, satin luster. The choice for vintage-inspired and premium lines.

A lacquer coating creates a glass-like, high-shine surface with a shorter lead time. The choice for bold, glossy, fashion-forward lines.
Not sure which finish fits your brand? We will ship you both — the same shape in dry-polished and spray-coated versions, side by side.
Request Both Finish SamplesCellulose acetate is derived from wood pulp or cotton — a renewable resource. Unlike ABS or acrylic, it is not made from petroleum.
Acetate can replicate tortoiseshell, marble, horn, jade, and custom patterns with stunning depth and translucency that plastic cannot match.
Acetate is skin-safe and hypoallergenic, making it ideal for customers with sensitive skin or metal allergies.
Under industrial composting conditions, cellulose acetate breaks down naturally — unlike plastic clips that persist in landfills for centuries.
The cellulose acetate comb sits between everyday plastic and luxury horn: anti-static like horn, warm to the touch, and far more durable than injection-molded plastic. Every acetate comb is CNC-cut from solid sheet and tumble-polished, so each tooth glides without snagging — fine-tooth, wide-tooth, dual-tooth, and beard styles, MOQ 1,000 pcs per design.
See the full lineup on our combs page, including tortoise shell combs cut from the same Italian acetate sheet as our Italian acetate hair clips.
An acetate hair brush turns the everyday cushion brush into a vanity piece — a tortoise shell or marble handle with an air-cushion pad and your choice of pins. It rounds out a matching set of acetate hair accessories: brush, comb, claw clip, and barrette in one pattern.
Handle shapes, bristle options, and customization details live on the hair brushes page; for a full matching collection, pair it with our hair clips & barrettes and claw clips.

Every brush we make starts here — the material decides the finish, the colour range and how your logo goes on. All three are made on our own lines in Dongguan.
Both run on existing molds — no tooling cost, no tooling lead time.
Cellulose acetate, CNC-carved and tumble-polished. 300+ colourways in stock — Pantone matching available on custom sheet.
The biggest single lever on how a brush feels and what it costs. All four run on our own assembly lines — pins, tufts and mixed rows.
Air-cushion rubber pad. Black and white are our standing stock — other colours need a small surcharge.
Where it goes, what it says, and how we put it on. These three are what we quote from — the styling on the next step is preview only.
Preview only. For production please send vector artwork (AI / EPS / PDF) — you can attach it to the inquiry form.
Fine-tuning for the preview — skip it if you like. None of it changes the quote; we set the final artwork from the file you send.
Gold and silver are hot-stamped foil. Every other colour is Pantone-matched in silk-screen or ink-fill — use the last swatch to pick your own.
On a narrow handle a vertical wordmark usually reads better — most of our handle-branded orders run vertical.
Designed and produced in-house alongside your brushes — printed boxes, hangtags, barcodes and inserts.

Cellulose acetate is a semi-synthetic material made from plant cellulose (wood pulp or cotton fibers) treated with acetic acid. It has been used since the 1920s in eyeglass frames and luxury accessories. Unlike petroleum-based plastics, it comes from renewable plant sources.
Acetate is plant-based and hand-polished to a deep, translucent finish that plastic cannot replicate. Resin (usually epoxy or polyester) is petroleum-based and cast in molds. Acetate clips are lighter, more comfortable, and have a luxury feel that justifies higher retail prices.
Yes. We work with acetate sheet manufacturers to create custom color combinations and patterns exclusive to your brand. Minimum order for custom patterns is typically 500kg of sheet material, which yields approximately 5,000-10,000 clips depending on size. Custom sheets add 7-10 days to the lead time; our 300+ standard patterns ship from stock.
For our signature satin finish, carved acetate pieces tumble-polish continuously for 7-10 days, followed by hand finishing and inspection. This is what gives acetate its warm luster and smooth edges — and the main reason acetate products cost more than injection-molded plastic. For a mirror-gloss look, we offer spray coating instead, which takes 2-3 days.
Two methods: recessed ink-fill (the logo is engraved into the surface and filled with ink, so it never rubs off) or silk-screen printing. On spray-coated products, the logo is printed before coating, so it sits protected beneath the lacquer layer.
